WebInterstate INC. Releases MediMatrix 8.5.0

Earlier this month WebInterstate released its most recent version of their flagship product MediMatrix to their customers.

Some new features added to MediMatrix version 8.5.0 include;

-Capability to cancel a study or exam feature as well as applied it to relevant management reports for better tracking within the system
-Selecting and loading prior exams into DICOM viewer for image comparison for better patient care
-Automation of notes stored stating facility’s original order placed for quality assurance
-Ability to load supporting documents to exam for company and patient records
-Added ability to view supporting documents specific to radiologists reading from MediMatrix to supply doctors with pertinent information for exam

 

Other special Electronic Insurance billing features in this edition include;

-Ability to include rendering physician for Insurance billing on claim level OR a claim line item level
-Specify a rendering physician for any CPT line so 26 line items can now have specific rendering physician NPI
-Ability to specify rendering physician’s Place of Services (POS) code for any CPT line
-Added ability to code transportation as a separate claim

WebInterstate releases approximately 4-6 updates of MediMatrix per year free of charge and developments are often based directly on customer feedback.
